Early morning, the driver will pick you from your hotel and brief you before heading out to Kitgum which is in the northern part of Uganda. Along the way you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big five mammals as it is the Rhinos, out of the big five that are missing in Murchison Falls National park. Here you will go for a trek around the sanctuary on foot. You will have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time and embark on an exciting road trip to Kitgum, arriving in the evening at the lodge for relaxation and dinner at Hotel Boma Kitgum
After breakfast drive northwards through Lira in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and Inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners. On arrival in the park, you will check in, relax a bit and have lunch. Later go for an evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson's Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions. Dinner and overnight at Kidepo savannah lodge
After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich and later return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring you into contact with Karamojong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at your lodge at Kidepo savannah lodge
After breakfast, have a morning game drive to search for Kidepo’s exclusive wildlife such as Ostriches, hartebeest, Roan antelopes and many woodland birds. Have lunch and relax by the lodge. Later, travel through the remotest zones of Uganda, seeing the villages and grass thatched houses passing by the window. View the wild, domestic and Cultural richness of this pearl of Africa, experience quality Vegetation Spend the night in the town of Gulu. Dinner and overnight at Boma Hotel Gulu
You will meet our professional driver guide at your Hotel in Gulu town and drive southwards to Murchison Falls National park reaching in afternoon at your hotel for lunch. After lunch, we depart for a game drive across the savannah in the northern part of the park. You will see abundant wildlife as the sun rises as Murchison Falls National Park is a home of game including Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hartebeests, Giraffes and a heaven of antelopes. Head back to the lodge and fro relaxation, dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison Lodge
After your early morning breakfast, our driver guide picks you up for the early game drive. Explore the major game trails especially in the northern bank for good game spotting including lots of Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Antelopes, Jackals, Hyenas, Uganda kobs, Waterbucks, Jackson's Hartebeests and hopefully the elusive Leopards among others. Later on, get your lunch break and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time. Later we set out for the afternoon Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile which is the high spot of any Murchison Falls Safari for you get to spot lots of animals at a close encounter. You will have to spot lots of hippos, Nile crocodiles, Elephants, Buffaloes, and many other animals that come to drink water, refresh and cool themselves off the scorching sun and some animals to eat the fresh grass along the river banks. Drive to the lodge for dinner at Fort murchsion lodge
After breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and enjoy some of the vast array of game animals like giraffes, elephants and buffalo that roam the park. Return to the accommodation unit for lunch. In the afternoon embark on the journey to Hoima following the Albertine rift. Dinner and overnight at Kolping Hotel Hoima
Have breakfast and depart with your packed lunch to Kibale National Park. This scenic drive takes about 7- 8 hours. You will pass close to Lake Albert. On a clear day, the view on the top of the Albert rift is spectacular. Pass through Fort portal town arriving late in the evening for relaxation at the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Isunga lodge
On this day, for those who will do Chimp trekking you will rise quite early and enjoy quick breakfast. Thereafter, you will be guided to the forest and experience tracking of the chimps and other primates in their natural habitat (this is the primate capital of the world). The park’s site guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with enormous encounters of various forest primates like the L’hoest, black faced colobus monkeys, baboons and other forest species. You will enjoy an evening tour to Bigodi wetland. This wetland sanctuary near Kibale forest is famous for the colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and a wealth of bird life like the African Broad-bill and the great blue turraco. Retire for dinner and overnight at Isunga lodge
The nearest city to Kibale Forest is Fort Portal. After having breakfast, check out with packed lunch and go to Nyakasura to the famous Mabere ga nyina mwiru which are amazing natural features. The gorge and falls and very beautiful and can be visited as they are located in the same area. You will later drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at Parkview Safari Lodge
Early in the morning set off for the morning game drive in the Northern crater area where there is a lot of dark holes called the black craters with no water. You may be able to see a lot of animal species such as the Elephants, lions, buffaloes etc. Return for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon you will embark on a boat cruise on Kazinga channel. This is very rewarding with the aquatic animals like crocodiles, hippos and many bird species like black bee carmine bee eaters and black bee eaters, Lesser Swamp-Warbler, Striated Heron among others. Transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way to Bwindi, this area is known for its tree-climbing lions.
In Ishasha we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with Topis and the southern version of Elephants to hopefully get the Lions high in the fig tree branches. Here you will experience a change in the landscape from flat savanna grassland to jungle with thickets and fig tree. Dinner and overnight at Topi lodge
After having breakfast at your pace, check out the lodge and transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National park with lunch en route or at the lodge in Bwindi, depending on time. You will be amazed by the terraced hills of Kigezi and the ever green forest of Bwindi with mist. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp
For those who will do Gorilla trekking we shall have early breakfast, with our packed lunch then assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about this breath taking activity. Time spent tracking depends on where the gorillas spent the night and their feeding range or encounter with other groups which might be wild forcing them to move long distances so be prepared for a whole day activity. Once found you spend an hour with them, seeing these gentle giants interact is awesome and the marvelous wildlife encounter on the African continent and an unforgettable. After having breakfast at your pace, you will leave the Ishasha sector and transverse through the rolling savanna grassland to the undulating terraced hill of Bunyonyi. Have a fun time to relax by beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.
There is a short list of optional activities: canoeing, swimming (safe in this lake), hiking on some of the Island trails along the lake-shores, community walks and having a chance to meet the local people / canoe ride along Lake Bunyonyi with small resident and exotic bird species singing. After breakfast transfer to Lake Mburo, the ‘Zebra magnet’. Leave Mbarara and continue driving through the undulating green covered and terraced hilly areas. Arrive in the park and have lunch at the lodge before heading for an afternoon game drive for view of Zebras, Topis, Warthogs, cape buffaloes and impalas. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock
Early in the morning, get set to visit the hyenas den, chance to see Leopards, zebras, waterbucks, birds buffaloes in there day break jungle life! Get back for breakfast and check out to embark on an exciting road trip back to. Have lunch en route with a stopover at the Equator line for experimentation and photography, arriving in the evening for relaxation, to be dropped at your point of call.
