1 Day great Shoebill search at Mabamba swamp
Your guide will pick you up in the morning and we will begin our journey to Mabamba Swamp, which is located south of Entebbe. If we’re lucky, we’ll be able to see some unusual birds along the route.
Tour Description
We go out in small boats when we get to Mabamba swamp to look for the rare Shoebill stork, lesser jacana, marsh harriers, African pygmy-goose, whistling, blue breasted bee eater, and many more Ugandan aquatic species.
Hopefully, you’ll be able to conclude your adventure with a sighting of the Great shoebill stork. After lunch, take a stroll through the lovely botanical gardens. On the beaches of Lake Victoria, you’ll find a pleasant environment and diverse species.
After this, we will travel back to Kampala to complete our journey.
