13 Days Uganda Sports fishing & Wildlife encounter

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by our company guide and professional driver who will transfer you to the hotel. The dinner, refreshment and accommodation will be at Lake Victoria Laico Hotel

After breakfast, you will head out through Kampala as you proceed to Murchison falls national park with lunch en route. A stopover will be made in Nakasongola district for Rhino tracking in Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Later proceed with the journey arriving late evening for relaxation, dinner and overnight at  Pakuba lodge

Go fishing on the mighty River Nile by boat below the world renowned Murchison falls for the Nile perch and other species. You will spend the whole day fishing from the boat and at the shore. This boat trip is also excellent for game viewing as you will be fishing in one of the best game areas on the Nile which can prove very exciting at times. Dinner and overnight at Pakuba lodge

After breakfast, enjoy an early game drive and enjoy some of the vast array of game animals like giraffes, elephants and buffalo that roam the park. Return to the accommodation unit for lunch. In the afternoon embark on the journey to Hoima following the Albertine rift. Dinner and overnight at Hoima kontiki hotel

Have breakfast, check out and proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park referred to as the medley of wonders. Arriving in the evening as you pass through dotted savanna, plains inhabited by elephant herds, cape buffalos, Lions and many antelope species. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Albertine riftvalley lodge

You will have an early Breakfast and then get ready for the Big Day. Go for a game drive expecting to see the early risers, and at least four members of the Big Five and other animals that you could have missed yesterday like the Uganda Kobs, Water-buck, Warthogs, etc. After lunch, you will take a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. You will see a lot of hippos as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see: Buffalos, Crocodiles, bathing Elephants, and a range of beautiful birds. This will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of your tour. Early morning after breakfast, leave the Northern sector of Queen Elizabeth and head southwards, where you find the rain tropical forests which are the natural habitat for the endangered mountain gorillas (Lunch en route). Pass through the Ishasha sector, the southern region of Queen Elizabeth NP. Take a game drive in search for the “tree climbing lions” which are seen during the hot hours of the day, as they lie resting on top of Figs trees. See also herds of buffaloes, elephants, topi antelopes and more. You will arrive late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Ruhija gorilla lodge

Have breakfast and thereafter, depart for the gorilla trekking briefing point after confirming you have the following necessities; A packed lunch, a backpack with 02 liters of bottled drinking water, a rain jacket, hiking boots, extra warm clothing, Insect repellent, gloves, camera with charged batteries etc.

This gorilla walk can take up to six hours, so a reasonable degree of fitness and a sturdy pair of walking shoes are required. Dinner and overnight at Ruhija gorilla lodge

After having breakfast, check out and drive through the hilly areas to the dotted savanna with acacia and shrubs to Lake Mburo, the home of zebras and impala herds.  Have lunch at Rwakobo rock and relax a bit. Later go for a game drive that will yield seeing Zebras, impalas, elands, cape buffalos, warthogs among others and later return for dinner and overnight at Rwakobo rock lodge

Get up early to have a chance of seeing waterbucks, Impalas, Warthogs, Zebras and birds in a day break jungle. Later check out and embark on an exciting road trip back to Kampala with a stopover at Igongo cultural centre in Mbarara for lunch and the Uganda equator arriving Kampala in the evening. After breakfast, transfer to Jinja via Mabira forest. Head out for a half day sports fishing on the mighty River Nile. This may yield catching Tilapia and the giant Nile perch. You will have lunch at the lodge. If you are lucky, you may be written in the adventurous tourists who have records of catching the biggest Nile perch!  Transfer to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Source of the nile hotel

Wake up for breakfast at your lodge and get set for a full day sport fishing activity. The fishing along the Nile exposes you to impressive Nile Perch, the Cat fish among other types. The experience is conducted on the boat, the fishing equipment provided and the expert guides are there to take you through the whole process. It is your magical day to get the big catch of the day or even break the record of past fishermen regarding the size of the fish caught. You retreat from the activity and drive through Jinja town as you connect back to Kampala for relaxation, dinner and overnight at  Las vegas garden hotel

After breakfast at your pace, you will check out and be transferred to Entebbe International airport to board your flight back as you say fare well to the pearl of Africa.
