Our guide/driver picks you from Entebbe International Airport, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park Via Mbarara – Masaka road. Make your stopover at the Equator crossing for photography at it with lunch en route. Thereafter proceed to Queen as you enjoy beautiful scenery, herds of long horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations, Rift valley escarpment, open grassland and woodland savanna.
Dinner and overnight at Albertine riftvalley Lodge
You have an early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive within through the northern sector of the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including Buffalos, Elephants, Lions and other mammals like Wart hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks.Go back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon hours you will participate in a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen along including the Great Pelicans.
Dinner and overnight at Albertine riftvalley Lodge
Have an early morning breakfast and head to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. Kalinzu central forest’s jungle life is a breathtaking one especially for botanists, bird lovers and primate lovers! On this expedition, a list of potential forest edge animals can be encountered such as Vervet Monkeys, black and white Colobus monkeys and butterflies. After you will be taken back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare yourself for the next transfer in the morning.
Dinner and night at Albertine riftvalley Lodge
After your morning breakfast, you will head to Ishasha sector part of Queen Elizabeth National Park to track tree climbing lions and if you are lucky, you will see them. You will have lunch en route and later embark on an exciting road trip back to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park arriving in the evening for relaxation,
Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Mist Camp
We shall have early breakfast, with our packed lunch then assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about this breath taking activity. Time spent tracking depends on where the gorillas spent the night and their feeding range or encounter with other groups which might be wild forcing them to move long distances so be prepared for a whole day activity. Once found you spend an hour with them, seeing these gentle giants interact is awesome and the marvelous wildlife encounter on the African continent and an unforgettable.
