After an early breakfast, drive to the south west of Uganda through kabale – kisoro main road; look at the beautiful scenery along the country side. Stopover and have lunch along the way then continue to Mgahinga park. Dinner and overnight at Travellers inn kisoro
After breakfast, continue to the briefing point at 8pm in mgahinga national park and begin your golden monkey trek. The trek will take you through the bamboo forests in search of the rare golden monkeys. After this activity explore Lake Mutanda for birding, boat ride, batwa pygmy experience and a nature walk through the hills. Dinner and overnight at Travellers inn kisoro
Early morning go for a full day 8hours mount hike at mout muhavura- Mgahinga. These conical volcanoes extend across Uganda’s border with congo and Rwanda and on a clear day the peaks offer amazing views of all 3 countries. This is one of the adrenaline thrilled activities that one must do. While trekking you will view golden monkeys, gorillas, hyenas, buffalos, elephants, birds, antelopes all found in the bamboo along the slopes.Dinner and overnight at Travellers inn kisoro
After your morning breakfast, you will head to Bwindi as you get ready for the next day’s adventure. You will have lunch en route arriving in the afternoon for relaxation, Dinner and overnight at Buhoma haven lodge
We shall have early breakfast, with our packed lunch then assemble at the park headquarters for briefing about this breath taking activity. Time spent tracking depends on where the gorillas spent the night and their feeding range or encounter with other groups which might be wild forcing them to move long distances so be prepared for a whole day activity. Once found you spend an hour with them, seeing these gentle giants interact is awesome and the marvelous wildlife encounter on the African continent and an unforgettable.
